On the second day, we went to London and we drove through the city. Then we visited the museum of London, the one on the Docklands. Sadly we didn’t have enough time to see it all, but I believe we were all very satisfied with what we saw, about different periods of British History related to the docks and the Thames.
After lunch, we walk along the Thames and crossed Tower Bridge. It was a very nice stroll. Along the way, we saw Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the City Hall, St Paul's cathedral and the Globe Theatre. Some of us sang Christmas songs and did presentations about these monuments.
Finally, we visited the Tate Modern museum. We didn’t have a lot of time for the size of the building, so we unfortunately didn’t get to see it all. Some artworks there were amazing.
Overall, it was a very nice day!
